A short break

I've got two hours before I have to go back and graduate from my NAMTA orientation. The session has been slightly abbreviated in the interests of including everyone--fine by me, because it means I have my Sunday to myself again. Which is pretty nice, I think.

A little more of The Silence today. Not a lot, and I'm not even sure I'm going to keep it, but I'm so close to a complete draft now that I'm more inclined to leave stuff in and move on and fix it all when I edit everything.

I also got some lesson prep done today, so that's nice too. This coming week looks a little less terrifying as I approach it.

Not a whole lot more to report, really, but I thought I'd check in. I'd love to see how everybody else is doing-- not a lot of updating of the blogs lately, although Erin and Anton have both been pretty good.

I haven't seen the new Golden Compass trailer. I'm afraid of it now. I really don't want the movies to be mediocre, I love the stories so.
