10 Days of Pain
Today is my fourth straight day working, and because I don't have a weekend because of this NAMTA conference, I won't have a day off until Nov. 11. Hence, ten days in November... of pain. Really it's two weeks.
On the bright side, I wrote another 2400 words of The Silence this morning, and I'm satisfied with it, I think. It approaches the end! It's going to need some serious editing before it can be published... If I can finish it before the end of Thanksgiving Break, I can distribute full drafts to the kids so they can read it for bookgroup next round.
I guess I won't have as much work, per se, for this NAMTA follow-up as I had originally thought, but I still have a bunch of prep to do for the second week of my Ottoman Empire project.
Wow, I thought I had more to report, but I guess I don't. As much as it's a little tiring to sit through so much lecture, and as much as it's going to take my weekend, it's a wonderful thing not to have to worry about being responsible for anybody but myself for a while.

your title was, by far and away, the easiest one to come up with.
And I knew you'd like it.
